              Little Dresses & Shorts

Schaghticoke staff and students have recently participated in a Little Dresses and Shorts program designed to help needy children in various countries throughout the world including Africa, Guatemala, and regions of the United States (Appalachia, South Dakota). Students and staff met after school, May 8 and May 15, and to date have made 35 dresses and 25 pairs of shorts that will be shipped to these regions. Way to go SMS!

May 31 - Choruses & Orchestra Concert 7 PM
June 1 - 8th Grade Dinner Dance 6:00 - 8:30 PM in cafe. SMS 8th graders only, paid reservation by 5/18 required!
June 4 - PTO Coffee w/ Principal 9 AM
June 8 - 8th Gr. Trip to Lake Compounce (form & money MUST be in by Apr. 6 to participate!)
June 18 - 8th Grade Promotion Ceremonies
8W @ 8:15/ 8B & 8R @ 10:15 *Only guests with tickets may attend.
June 18 - Last Day of School - SMS Early Dismissal @ 12 PM
(8th Graders go home w/parent after Promotion Ceremony)
