Posted 2012-05-17 by SMS PTO

There are 2 ways to win: boxtops.gif

1. Two students—one from 7th grade and one from 8th grade—that turn in the most Box Tops during the contest period will each win a 4 pack of movie tickets to Bank Street Theater. Each ticket includes admission as well as popcorn and a drink.

2. For every 10 Box Tops handed in, students will receive an entry into a random drawing. There will be two separate drawings for a family four pack of bowling at Lore’s Lanes — one drawing for 7th grade and another for 8th grade.

Each submission of Box Tops must include a completed contest entry form (click here). Forms and Box Tops can be handed in during student’s "A" period classes or deposited into the collection box in the office.

Help get free computer equipment!
Posted 2012-03-28 by Mrs. Dubray

cartridge_logo[1].jpgPlease save and bring or send in empty ink & toner cartridges. We also now collect old cell phones, iPods, digital cameras, gps devices, & laptops. We get points for them to exchange for computercellphone_logo.jpg equipment and we also help the environment by recycling. There are collection boxes in the LMC and the Computer Labs.
So far, we have purchased assorted computer equipment and 3 color printers for the computer labs and the LMC with the points that we have earned!
Keep on bringing them in, this is an ongoing collection! It takes a lot of points to buy a piece of equipment.

Businesses that wish to contribute to the SMS collection can also obtain free shipping labels to send in donated items directly from the office:
