PTO Information

The Northville Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is committed to building a strong, connected school community by fostering collaboration between families, staff, and students. Through volunteerism, fundraising, and school events, the PTO helps enrich the educational experience and create memorable opportunities for our children. Whether you have time to volunteer, ideas to share, or simply want to stay informed, there are many ways to get involved. Together, we make Northville an even more welcoming, supportive, and special place for every child.

Social Emotional Learning

At Northville Elementary, our school counselor, social worker, and psychologist work collaboratively to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student. This dedicated team helps children develop important skills, build positive relationships, navigate challenges, and feel confident and supported throughout their school experience.

By partnering with students, families, and staff, our mental health team helps create a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. At Northville, we believe in supporting the whole child—because everyone counts!

Unified Arts & Enrichment

At Northville Elementary, our Unified Arts teachers— including those in Art, Music, Physical Education, Library, STEM —bring creativity, passion, and dedication to every class. They inspire students to explore their talents, think critically, and express themselves in meaningful ways. Through hands-on learning and innovative instruction, our Unified Arts team helps nurture the whole child and enrich the vibrant, well-rounded education we value at Northville.

The Plant Patch

The Plant Patch is a 50’ x 100’ vegetable and flower garden, located on the Northville Elementary School property.   Our students visit The Plant Patch in both the fall and spring. The Plant Patch is an outdoor classroom for the school and an enrichment opportunity for students who come multiple times throughout the fall and spring with their classes to participate in volunteer-led programs focusing on nature and the science of growing food.  We are always looking for volunteers.  Green thumb or no green thumb … come on by!  For questions about the Patch or to volunteer, contact Claire Runyan at [email protected] with Plant Patch in the subject.
