New Milford High School Band Parent Volunteer

There are two Home Shows the band hosts each year. For more information about those shows, contact a board member
Marching Band and Color Guard
Performs at home football games, community events and parades, competes during marching season, and learns new traditional style of marching routines annually while mastering instrumental playing
Wind Ensemble
Ensemble strives to develop music skills and techniques important to developing musicians
Orchestra
Provides musicians an opportunity to further develop skills, techniques, and various bowing styles
Jazz Band
Students submit playing assessments and are handpicked by the band director to participate
Winter Guard
Performs alongside and separate from the band. Interprets music via synchronized work of flags, sabers, rifles, etc.
Concert Band
Rehearsal begins at the conclusion of marching season
Winter Percussion
Enhances marching percussion abilities
