Dear New Milford Public Schools Community:

I am honored to join the New Milford Public Schools as the Director of Student Services. It is a privilege to lead and support students, families, staff, and the educational community as we work together to fulfill the District’s mission: to prepare each and every New Milford Public School student to compete and excel in an ever-changing world, to embrace challenges with vigor, to respect and appreciate the worth of every human being. Furthermore, we will teach our scholars to contribute to society by providing them effective instruction and dynamic curriculum, offering a wide range of valuable experiences, and inspiring students to pursue their dreams and aspirations.  Inspired by excellence in teaching and learning for students with special education programming needs, I am committed to building upon the strengths of the New Milford Department of Student Services and identifying new opportunities to enhance high-quality, student-centered learning.

In continued partnership with the general education faculty, the Department of Student Services will build upon learning environments and instructional practices that support students in their attainment of the New Milford Public Schools standards. Through the Planning and Placement Team process, students with special education programming will continue to receive services, support, and instruction designed to allow them to cultivate and demonstrate their knowledge, abilities. New Milford students whose educational journeys require specially designed instruction will continue to thrive in their learning and in their contributions to the community that believes in and supports them.

As an approachable leader, I value relationships, collaboration, and continuous learning.
